The West Rand Amateur Radio Club enjoys participating in a number of radio amateur contests. These events are an excellent way to improve skills, connect with other operators, and have fun while challenging yourself in a competitive environment. There are many different types of contests, from short-range events like Field Day to more specialized ones like DX (long-distance) contests, so the variety can keep things interesting.
